A loyal family of fans in mourning.

Premiership dreams dashed.

Raydale Park for sale.

Gretna Football Club's meteoric rise from humble beginnings to the SPL was the stuff of dreams. The equally spectacular collapse of Gretna F.C., after funding was withdrawn, came like a death in the family for many of its loyal fans. Now Gretna faces the imminent loss of its historic grounds, Raydale Park.

It is time to take action. Time for a new beginning.

Fan control of the club.

Raydale Park retained & renovated.

SaveGretna.com, in partnership with online technology specialists Neogic Web Solutions, are forming a "supporters' consortium", backed by a major media campaign, to save Raydale Park and ultimately restore Gretna's football club to League success.

To do this, the club needs YOUR help.

We plan to create an online community in charge of running the new Gretna club. The community will have democratic control over all key decisions in the running of the team and grounds; from player / manager deals, through the club brand and pitch tactics, to spending priorities (cheaper tickets? better facilities? star players?).

YOU will have direct influence over restoring the real-life Gretna club and its grounds to their former glory. YOUR decisions will be crucial to the club's success.

Success will be sustainable and supporter-driven: never again will the club depend on investors-in-suits for its survival. No more forcing local fans to travel 150 miles to see their team play "at home"!

Pledge your support.

We can only make this dream come true if enough individuals sign up to pledge their support. The club Admininistrator is in talks right now to sell off Raydale Park and its assets for other purposes. Without a home ground, there would be little chance of building a successful club.

We need 10,000 members, each contibuting a small membership fee, in order to save Raydale Park and build the new club. As a contributing member, you would have access to the Club Manager website, allowing you to participate in the club manager community (forums, exclusive insider news, fan videos, etc) and vote on decisions.

You don't have to be a dedicated Gretna fan to join! Perhaps you'd like to join for the thrill of helping to build a successful football club from grass-roots level. Perhaps you recognise the devastating effect that losing the grounds will have on the Gretna community and want to help. Everyone is welcome.

You can show your support and find out more about the project by registering your details using the short form on the right. Thank you.

"And so at last the beast fell and the unbelievers rejoiced. But all was not lost, for from the ash rose a great bird. The bird gazed down upon the unbelievers and cast fire and thunder upon them. For the beast had been reborn with its strength renewed, and the fans rejoiced."
